Terms of use
The role of Portovierno's content, reuse rules and responsibilities when booking with an external provider.
Version dated
Purpose and access
Portovierno provides travel editorial information free of charge. The current version is a pre-launch preview with illustrative articles, images and selections.
These terms describe use of the site; they are not sales terms for a trip or product. The publisher’s identity remains to be completed in the legal notice.
Using travel information
A guide helps you plan but does not guarantee that opening hours, prices, entry conditions or availability remain accurate indefinitely. Check decisive information with authorities and providers for your circumstances and travel dates.
Estimates are not quotations. Generated or illustrative images are not evidence of a hotel’s or destination’s actual condition. Comparisons are limited selections, not comprehensive market inventories.
These precautions do not remove the publisher’s duties to verify and correct information.
External bookings and purchases
Portovierno currently sells, books and collects payment for no travel service or product. Any eventual contract will be made with the seller or provider identified on the external site under the terms displayed there.
Check the total price, taxes, included services, guarantees and cancellation or return rules. Booking-related requests should be sent to the relevant provider.
Future affiliate links will be explained in the affiliate disclosure and affected articles.
Reuse and acceptable use
You may read the content and share links to its pages. Other reuse must respect the owners’ rights, stated licences and legal exceptions, including short quotations where applicable.
Do not use the site to attempt unauthorised system access, disrupt service, distribute unlawful content or infringe others’ rights. The contact page explains what to include in a content report.
Availability and responsibility
Access may be interrupted for maintenance or incidents. The publisher does not promise continuous availability and must address reported errors in accordance with its obligations.
The publisher remains responsible to the extent provided by applicable law. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, removes a reader’s mandatory rights or excuses misleading information.
Data, languages and changes
The privacy and cookie policy describes data processing; reading these terms does not give consent to tracking or marketing.
The French and English versions aim to convey the same information. Differences can be reported for correction. Revised versions carry a date; they do not retroactively change a contract made with a third-party provider.
Applicable law and disagreements
As the project is based in France, these terms are prepared under French law, subject to applicable mandatory protections and jurisdiction rules, including those protecting consumers.
The publisher’s future contact channel will allow readers to seek an amicable resolution of site-related issues. This does not restrict recourse to a competent authority or court. Outstanding details and legal status must be reviewed before final publication.
