The best Paris hotels under €150
An honest method and five hotels to check first when targeting less than €150 a night, without turning a price sighting into a promise.
Guide checked on 13 September 2026. Prices, opening times and availability can change; confirm them on the official website before booking.
Finding a decent double room below €150 in Paris is possible, but rarely guaranteed across all dates. Trade fairs, school holidays and weekends shift rates sharply. This page therefore gives a checking method and properties to test first, not a fictional permanent price.
What “under €150” means here
Our ceiling means the total per night for one double room, including compulsory taxes and excluding optional breakfast. A member-only, non-refundable or one-night deal should be identified during a future update and must not become the reference price.
On 13 September 2026, we reviewed five public Booking.com listings and excluded properties where recent feedback or the overall score did not seem strong enough. Only one comparable public example clearly sat below the ceiling during that check: B&B HOTEL Paris Porte des Lilas displayed €411 for three nights and two adults, including taxes, on its 12–15 September 2026 example—€137 a night. That historical observation does not guarantee any future stay.
Five hotels to check first
B&B HOTEL Paris Porte des Lilas — the most predictable candidate
Five minutes on foot from Porte des Lilas Metro according to its listing, this chain hotel offers 24-hour reception, air conditioning, soundproofed rooms and private parking. Booking.com showed 8.0/10 from 11,523 reviews. The trade-off is an outer location; check the real journey to each planned visit. Compare your dates
Hotel Darcet — an excellent score near Place de Clichy
The hotel is on Rue Darcet in the 17th, around 200 metres from Place de Clichy Metro according to the listing. It showed 9.1/10 from more than 1,100 reviews, with 24-hour reception, a lift and luggage storage. It had no availability in the public example we checked; keep it in the search for quieter dates. Hotel des Vosges — simple and extremely close to the Metro
This Ménilmontant property is about 95 metres from the Metro and 700 metres from Père-Lachaise according to its listing. The displayed score was 7.9/10 from 1,938 reviews, with particularly positive staff ratings. Rooms are simple and upper floors may require stairs, so read the accessibility details. Hotel Terre Neuve — a small property near Père-Lachaise
On Rue de Terre-Neuve in the 20th, the hotel lists en-suite rooms, tea and coffee facilities, and 24-hour reception. Booking.com displayed 8.1/10 from roughly 560 reviews. Its value appears when the rate drops below the ceiling; it is not the fastest base for western Paris. Compare your dates
The search most likely to work
- Start with Sunday to Thursday outside holidays and major events.
- Compare the entire stay: three nights at one hotel can price differently from separate searches.
- Filter at €150, then require a minimum score and at least several hundred reviews.
- Open the map and keep properties within a ten-minute walk of a useful Metro station.
- Compare refundable offers with refundable offers; a non-refundable deal is not equivalent.
- Check city tax, breakfast and member-rate conditions before deciding.
When slightly exceeding the ceiling makes sense
Adding €15 or €20 can be rational when it removes two daily changes, includes breakfast or allows cancellation. Conversely, a €139 room without air conditioning during warm weather or without a lift when carrying heavy bags can be poor value.
If location comes first, begin with the best areas for a first visit and then return to the price filter. The neighbourhood and daily journey must remain criteria, not afterthoughts.
